Are electric trucks better than hydrogen trucks?

Hydrogen as well as electric trucks pursue a common goal: a greenhouse gas-neutral road transport. It is not possible to give a blanket answer as to which form of drive is the better one, because this depends very much on how the vehicle is used. However, industry and private individuals are increasingly turning to electric drives, which are more cost-effective in the long term. Particularly in the case of electric trucks, the ever-expanding ranges are also increasing the number of vehicles on the road. In recent years, there have been great advances in battery and charging technology. Another advantage for long-distance, plant and distribution logistics is the steadily growing infrastructure for battery-electric trucks in Europe.
