After use as stationary storage, Designwerk batteries are recycled by Librec. Founded in 2021, LIBREC AG specializes in the industrial recycling of used electric vehicle batteries. Librec retains over 90% of cobalt, nickel, lithium and all other battery materials in the cycle. These can then be reused to produce new batteries.
