When planning routes for e-trucks, a distinction is made between range and active radius. Financially and ecologically, it makes sense to charge an e-truck overnight at its home base. However, the charging infrastructure for electric trucks is constantly being expanded throughout Europe. There should be around 11,000 charging points in the European Union by 2025. The target for 2030 is 42,000 charging points.
