The areas of application for electric trucks have broadened considerably in recent years. Today, electrically powered trucks are successfully used in construction logistics, distribution logistics, recycling logistics, agricultural and forestry logistics and now also in long-distance logistics. Today, Designwerk customers are already driving up to 800 kilometers a day with our e-trucks. Electric trucks are emission-free and quiet. This makes them particularly suitable for stop-and-go or inner-city traffic. Battery-powered vehicles can convert kinetic energy back into electrical energy using a regenerative braking system. This system is called recuperation.
