What are the advantages of electric trucks?

If you compare diesel and electric trucks, you can already see many advantages of electric commercial vehicles:

Motors convert electrical energy into kinetic energy. Battery electric-powered vehicles have the ability to act as a generator and can retain kinetic energy and recuperate energy through a regenerative braking system.
