There should be around 11,000 charging points for electric trucks in the European Union by 2025. The target for 2030 is 42,000 charging points. This objective is in line with a study by the Fraunhofer Institute. The editors assume that in a starting network with charging stations for e-truck, charging locations will be established at intervals of 100 kilometers and then expanded to an interval of 50 kilometers. The ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers Association) confirms these assumptions.
