With the stationary/mobile battery backed charger (SBC/MBC) you can charge electric trucks, buses, airplanes and ships in record time. Thanks to its high charging capacity and low operating costs, the device is ideal for use in fleet operations, in the commercial vehicle industry, by vehicle manufacturers, in test centers, in urban or municipal areas, for energy-supplying companies and charging point operators.
Electrical energy is drawn from the power grid, converted into direct current by an AC/DC converter and then temporarily stored in batteries. The DC voltage of the battery buffer is adapted to the voltage of the vehicle via another DC/DC converter. Thanks to the battery buffer, higher power can be delivered during a charging process than would be possible with a mains connection.
