05.02.2025 – The Swiss electromobility expert Designwerk Technologies AG announces a significant reduction in the list prices of its mobile DC fast chargers. With immediate effect, the versatile mobile chargers are up to 32 percent cheaper. With this price adjustment, Designwerk aims to further promote the transition to electromobility and significantly reduce the financial barriers to entry for battery electric drives. The measure underlines the company’s commitment to making electromobility more accessible for different areas of application.

The mobile DC fast chargers from the electromobility expert Designwerk have been used by logistics companies, car dealers, vehicle manufacturers and event organizers in a wide variety of sectors since 2015. The easily maneuverable DC chargers charge with consistently high charging capacities of 22 to 88 kilowatts and with all common charging standards. Designwerk Technologies AG is now adjusting the price list for the entire product family of mobile DC fast chargers by up to 32 percent.

The entry into electromobility
“We want to accelerate the transition to electromobility. With the price reduction, we want to help lower the entry threshold for battery electric drives,” announces Thorben Maier, Head of Sales and Customer Service Charging Technology. “As a complete system provider with electric trucks in our portfolio, we ourselves benefit from lower entry barriers for our customers.”

Optimized production and economies of scale
The price reduction was made possible by a series of strategic developments. The establishment of a dedicated site for the production of charging technology enabled optimized production processes and increased efficiency. “Our module strategy is also paying off,” emphasizes Jan Mönnich, Product Manager Charging Technology at Designwerk. “Thanks to this strategy, we can pass on economies of scale and improved purchasing conditions directly to our customers.”
