Designwerk is innovation partner of the Continental Commercial Vehicle Tires European Roadshow

Continental Commercial Vehicle Tires launches a roadshow through Europe. A show truck is used to visit trade fairs, shows and commercial vehicle events in 35 different countries over a two-year period. The designed, interactive show trailer takes up the topics that are currently moving the transport and logistics industry. Optimizing fleet costs and reducing CO2 emissions are currently the top priorities in the transport sector.

As an innovation partner, Designwerk will be present on selected sections of the roadshow. Thus, part of the route will be covered by the Designwerk HIGH CAB Semi 6x2T. The vehicle, which has a 900-kilowatt-hour battery capacity, thus demonstrates its long range and will cover distances of around 500 kilometers without intermediate charging. The show trailer presents information on current trends in electromobility.

Throughout the roadshow, professional driver Ronny Nittmann will drive the show truck around 50,000 kilometers across Europe and on a blog about his experiences. In addition to sharing his first impressions of electric driving, Ronny will share his experiences on driving and charging the e-truck. In addition to the current stops of the roadshow, freight forwarders, fleet managers, dispatchers and professional drivers will find information on transport and logistics in the respective countries as well as useful know-how on the latest tire generation, fleet management and current topics in e-mobility for commercial vehicles.
